Precautionary Measures In Relation To COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019)
In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, we are taking necessary precautions in accordance with the latest advisories published by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
In the interest and well-being of our members, beneficiaries and staff, we have implemented the following measures:
Make an appointment before visiting the iCosy Hub
Before visiting, please call us at either 68050810 or 68050807 to make an appointment. This is part of our social distancing measures to restrict the number of visitors below 10 in the ISCOS office (iCosy Hub) at any one time.
Upon arrival, please press the doorbell so that our staff may attend to you as soon as possible. In the event of large crowd, we request that you wait patiently outside the office for your turn.
Temperature-taking and travel declarations for visitors and staff
All visitors to the iCosy Hub will be needed to declare their travel history upon arrival at the iCosy Hub (including but not limited to walk-ins, members, beneficiaries, family members who come for tele-visit, volunteers, suppliers, delivery personnel). Visitors who look unwell will be offered a mask and advised to seek medical attention.
Using non-contact thermometer, we will also record the body temperature of every visitor upon entry to iCosy Hub. If the temperature indicates a fever (37.5˚C), the visitor will be given a mask and advised to seek medical attention if they feel unwell. All staff will also record their temperature twice a day.
IMPORTANT UPDATE BASED ON MOH ADVISORY: From 20 March 2020 2359 hours, all Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and Long Term Pass holders returning to Singapore will be issued a 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN) starting from the day of their return. Persons under SHN must remain in their place of residence at all times.
Well-being of our staff
We value the health and well-being of our staff, and urge all to remain vigilant and adopt good personal hygiene practices. All staff are reminded to wash their hands frequently with soap and water, and avoid touching the face and hair. Hand sanitisers are provided to every staff, and he/she can choose to don a face mask where necessary.
We have further implemented the following measures with effect from 10 February 2020:
Large group events and activities
Large group and communal activities will be suspended for the time being until further notice, while we continue to monitor the situation closely.
Everyone’s health is important.
If you are feeling unwell and demonstrate symptoms such as cough, runny nose, fever and shortness of breath, please wear a mask and seek medical attention promptly. You may also refer to the following link on when to wear a mask (https://www.healthhub.sg/live-healthy/1204/when-a-mask-is-a-must).
